Nestled in a valley surrounded by majestic mountains, our estate rises 560 meters above sea level, offering our vineyards a unique environment to thrive and produce grapes of exceptional quality.
The soils of the estate, a blend of limestone and clay, provide the perfect balance of nutrients and drainage, enriching our vines with the distinctive richness that is reflected in every sip of our wines.
In our region, the climate is characterized by its aridity, with maritime influences filtered through Mediterranean air corridors. These unique climatic conditions favor the optimal development of our crops, giving our grapes the opportunity to reach their full potential of flavor and aroma.
Our estate proudly hosts five grape varieties, each cultivated with care and dedication:
- Monastrell: Rooted in tradition, much of our Monastrell continues to grow in goblet training, with a planting frame of 2.8m² x 2.8m² and an impressive age of 72 years.
- Merseguera: This white grape, initially planted in goblet training, has been carefully guided towards a longer life in trellis. With a planting frame of 2.8m² x 2.8m² and an age of 50 years, Merseguera brings its distinctive character to our wines.
- Cabernet Sauvignon: A younger crop, planted in trellis training, with a planting frame of 2.8m² x 1.90m² and an age of 20 years. Cabernet Sauvignon contributes its elegance and structure to our range of wines.
- Syrah: Similar to Cabernet Sauvignon in terms of youth and trellis training, Syrah brings its own unique flavor profile. With a planting frame of 2.8m² x 1.90m² and an age of 20 years, this vine thrives in our exceptional terroir.
- Chardonnay: The youngest of our varieties, planted in trellis training with a planting frame of 2.8m² x 1.50m² and an age of 5 years. Chardonnay adds vibrant freshness to our collection of wines, showcasing the future potential of our estate.
